These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to https://goldenhausdachshund.com and any related pages, forms, and communications operated by Golden Haus Dachshunds (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By browsing this website, submitting a form, or contacting us, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, please do not use this website or submit applications. Puppy sales, waitlist placements, and reservations are also governed by the signed agreement that applies to your situation. When a signed agreement and these Terms differ, the signed agreement controls for that transaction.

1. Who we are

Golden Haus Dachshunds is a family Dachshund breeding program. We raise AKC-registered puppies in our home and work with approved families through our application, waitlist, reservation, and adoption process. Website content is provided for information about our program, available puppies, health practices, and how to apply.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to submit an application, join the waitlist, reserve a puppy, or enter into an adoption agreement. By submitting a form, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are legally able to enter a binding agreement in your jurisdiction.

3. Website content & availability

Puppy photos, descriptions, prices, availability dates, litter timelines, and other site content are for informational purposes and may change at any time. A listing on Available Puppies does not guarantee that a puppy remains available until an approved application, signed agreement, and required payment are completed.

We may update, correct, or remove content without notice. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Temporary outages or maintenance may occur.

4. Inquiries, applications & communications

Forms on this site (contact, apply, waitlist, reservation, reviews, and similar) are invitations for us to consider your request. We may respond by email, phone, or other contact details you provide. Submitting a form does not create a contract to sell or reserve a puppy.

• We may decline or pause applications that are incomplete, inaccurate, or not a suitable match for a puppy’s needs.
• We may request additional information, references, or a conversation before approving a family.
• You agree not to submit unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, or misleading content through any form or review feature.

5. Waitlist, reservation & adoption

Placement decisions are made by Golden Haus Dachshunds based on temperament match, timing, home readiness, and litter availability. Standard published figures (subject to change and to your signed agreement) include a $300 waitlist fee, a $750 reservation fee for a specific available puppy, and a typical puppy price of $1,100.

6. Fees, payments & refunds

Fees described on the website are guides. The amount due, when it is due, what it applies toward, and whether it is refundable are controlled by the applicable signed agreement and our written confirmation. After adoption or transfer is complete, sales are generally final as stated in the Adoption Contract, except where a written health guarantee expressly provides a remedy.

You are responsible for any bank fees, payment-processor charges, or currency conversion costs associated with your payment method, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

7. Health information & veterinary care

Educational content on pages such as Health & Care and our Blog is general information, not veterinary advice for your specific animal. Always follow your veterinarian’s guidance for your puppy’s health, nutrition, and safety.

Any written health guarantee is provided only through the documents delivered at sale or as expressly stated in your signed adoption paperwork. Website summaries do not expand or replace that guarantee.

8. Reviews & user-submitted content

If you post a review or other content on this website, you grant Golden Haus Dachshunds a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, store, and use that content in connection with our program and website. You confirm that your review is truthful and based on your own experience, and that you have the right to share it.

We may edit for length or clarity, decline to publish, or remove content that is unlawful, offensive, misleading, or unrelated to our program. Reviews do not create any warranty beyond what appears in your signed agreements.

9. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise noted, text, branding, layout, logos, and original photos on this website are owned by Golden Haus Dachshunds or used with permission. You may not copy, scrape, republish, or commercially reuse site content without our prior written consent, except for personal, non-commercial viewing or fair use permitted by law.

Some photographs may be licensed stock imagery. Those images remain subject to their license terms and are not sold or transferred to you by browsing this site.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, forms, admin areas, or related systems
• Use automated bots to submit spam, scrape listings, or overload the site
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your household, location, or intentions when applying
• Use contact details obtained from this site for unsolicited marketing

This disclaimer does not limit any express written warranties in a signed adoption or health-guarantee document.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Golden Haus Dachshunds and its owners, family members, and helpers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the website or reliance on general site content. Our total liability related solely to website use (not including obligations under a signed puppy agreement) will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100).

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Golden Haus Dachshunds from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your misuse of the website, your submitted content, or your breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.

How we collect and use personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the website after an update means you accept the revised Terms. For active waitlist or adoption agreements already signed, those signed documents continue to govern that transaction unless both parties agree otherwise in writing.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Golden Haus Dachshunds primarily operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in that state will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from website use, subject to any different venue clause in a signed puppy agreement.
