The waitlist is for families who are happy to wait for a Golden Haus Dachshund from an upcoming litter — not for reserving a puppy that is available today.
When you join, we hold your place and keep you updated as future litters are planned, born, and grow. You’ll hear from us about litter news, possible matches, and next steps so you know what to expect while you wait.
To join, you pay a $300 waitlist fee — that is all. The $300 is part of your puppy’s $1,100 purchase price and is credited when you adopt.
If a puppy is already listed as Available and you want one now, you do not need the waitlist — go to our Adoption Process page instead.

What Happens Next
From Waitlist to Home
Apply & Pay $300
Submit the waitlist form and pay the $300 waitlist fee. That places you on the waitlist for upcoming litters. Your place is secured, and the $300 counts toward the $1,100 puppy price.
We Update You While You Wait
You do not sit in the dark. As upcoming litters are planned or arrive, we contact waitlist families with litter updates, possible matches, and progress as the puppies grow.
Choose Your Puppy & Finish Payment
When you are matched with a puppy from a litter, the remaining balance of the $1,100 (after your $300 credit) is due according to the adoption agreement — typically $800 before go-home day.
Bring Home
Around 8 weeks of age, after health checks and completed documents, your Dachshund joins your forever family — with records, care guidance, and lifetime support.

Waitlist Guidelines
- The waitlist is for families who want to wait for upcoming litters and receive updates — not to reserve a puppy available today.
- To join, you pay a $300 fee — that is all to secure your place.
- The $300 is part of the $1,100 puppy purchase price and is credited when you adopt.
- While you wait, we update you about planned litters, new arrivals, and possible matches.
- A waitlist place does not guarantee a specific puppy, coat, color, sex, or delivery date.
- The $300 waitlist fee is refundable if you withdraw before a puppy is reserved/matched for you.
- The puppy will not leave Golden Haus until the full $1,100 is paid and all required documents are completed.
- After adoption, all sales are final — there are no refunds.

While on the Waitlist
The $300 waitlist fee is refundable if you decide you are no longer interested, provided a puppy has not yet been reserved or matched for you.
After Adoption
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS AFTER ADOPTION.
Once a puppy has been transferred, amounts paid toward the $1,100 are non-refundable. Any health guarantee is governed only by the signed Adoption Agreement.
